Profile

Christine Lee

Christine was born and raised in the Bay Area. She has been a mover from the day she was born, taking off running before she learned to walk. Christine started gymnastics at age 2 and Chinese traditional dance at age 5. At the age of 9 she was introduced to jazz dance which has become her passion.

She trained at the Marie Stinnett Dance studio in Campbell, CA under Marie Stinnett, as well as Valerie Graham, Karyn Dorcak, and Lisa Barretta where she studied jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater. She continued her dance studies at the University of California, Irvine with an emphasis on jazz and modern dance. Upon graduating with a B.S. degree in biological sciences, Christine moved back to the Bay Area to work in dermatology and emergency medicine. She continues to take classes as she believes there is always space to learn and grow as a versatile dancer. Christine ventured into a class at Ariel Dance Productions one night and immediately felt right at home. She hopes her class will become home to others.
