Profile

Forest Chen’s dance journey began with an early passion for K-pop, through which he developed his freestyle skills as a young dancer. In college, he joined SoNE1 and became one of the team’s choreographers, ultimately leading them to secure 2nd place at Davis Dance Revolution 2018. Building on this experience, he founded AX Dance Crew, where he took on the roles of director and main choreographer, guiding the team to a 1st place victory at Davis Dance Revolution in 2019.

After graduation, Forest expanded his career by joining Press P.L.A.Y, a team that competed at Prelude NorCal later that year. During the pandemic, his dedication to dance was reignited through creating K-pop covers with close friends, rekindling his commitment to team-based performance. This passion ultimately led him to join Off The Grid (OTG), a K-pop cover dance group based in the Bay Area in 2023, where he quickly rose to a directorial role, bringing his creative and strategic vision to the team.

Forest’s journey reflects a continuous evolution in both skill and leadership, driven by his love for collaborative artistry and the expressive power of dance.
